Frank Davey Limited is a family run business, directed and managed by Frank Davey. Established in 1998, the company originally mainly sub-contracted off J S Fulton, carrying out footway and carriageway repairs for Norwich City Council. Services include Patching and Reinstating, Car Parks, Driveways, Civils, Groundworks, Roadways and Paths. In January 2002, this work came to an end. Frank Davey Ltd then began working for Suffolk County Council through Suffolk Highways Contracting. In December 2019, we made the decision to move from Roy Humphrey’s yard to Nicks Lane, Brome, Eye, Suffolk IP23 8AN so we could expand our business even further.

Having contacted a couple of firms first who messed me about I then found Frank Davey Ltd from the very first conversation with Mr Davey to the end everybody concerned with the project was nothing but professional, polite & respectful. Philip was amazing once he saw the plans given by council and did all the necessary paperwork, he and Sandra kept me informed every step of the way. Hi, I want to email you so you can pass on my thanks to two of your drivers, my daughter was riding along Mellis Road one driver came round corner towards us and slowed and stopped so we could get passed safely. A few minutes later we heard a lorry coming from behind us in a narrow part of the road, your driver waited till we trotted to the next driveway. Both drivers behaviour to horses on roads was exemplary and very much appreciated and I would like you to pass on my thanks. We would be grateful if you could pass this message to the appropriate managers in your company. Last week a Team from your company undertook road-patching works throughout our village. This included a particularly long section directly outside our home. Such were the skills, patience and attitude to their work that we observed that we felt we had to write and CONGRATULATE THE WHOLE TEAM. They undertook their work in a very clean, tidy and efficient manner leaving us with a road surface we've not known for over a decade. Their patience with us as residents when needed access to and from our homes was always exemplary, always leaving site neat and tidy at the end of each working day and vehicle/equipment safely parked. "I've known Frank for many years. I've never had the opportunity to offer Frank some work, until two years ago. He came to view the job when he said he would, and after agreeing a price Frank and the lads began when they said the would. This in itself is rare these days - RELIABILITY!!!! The work carried out was the best I have ever seen and the kerb work was exceptional. Frank kept in contact with me throughout the project and I made sure I had a few site visits. Frank and the lads came up with ideas above and beyond what I expected. Nothing was too much trouble. And if he couldn't sort something, he knew a man that could! The guys left no mess, you know the usual crisp packets, coke cans etc, NOTHING! All the spoil was taken away and the site left immaculate... All in all a perfect job by polite hard workers. And to top it off Frank is a pleasure to deal with. A proper bloke with proper working values."
